On October 11, a group of people from Europe, India, South Africa and the US gathered around the same table in Istanbul. What brought us together was a shared curiosity and the desire to talk and think together about trust, polarization, and the power of wholesome conversations and listening well.

In collaboration with the European School of Politics and The CIVICS, we spent the day exploring themes of trust, distrust, camaraderie, polarization, love, hate, and everything in between. What made the conversation meaningful was not only the ideas shared but also the openness and courage of everyone in the room.

A heartfelt thank you to all our guests for making this gathering so special.

We’ll be sharing the visual documentation of the event soon.

Participants of the roundtable; Ayla Göksel, Emma Sky, Fikret Adaman, Hakan Altınay, Harsh Mander, Jannes Tessmann, Kumi Naidoo, Laura Kelly, Lisbeth Pilegaard, Louisa Slavkova, Mark Freeman, Matjaz Gruden, Merve Çağlar, Michael Schwarz, Paula Weissenseel, Peter Levine, Sylvia Zareva.
