European School of Politics held its second training at Boğaziçi University, between 1-8 February, 2015. As in our previous seminar, prominent academics and senior politicians gave lectures. Our participants took classes such as European institutions, European Union, Foreign Policy, Economic Growth, Human Rights, Social Policies, Gender, Youth, Environment and Refugee Policies, Unions and Labour Legislation, Voter Dispositions and Public Speaking. In addition to these courses, they also had an opportunity to meet senior politicians such as Mehmet Özhaseki (Mayor of Kayseri Municipality, Justice and Development Party); Melda Onur (Member of Parliament, Republican’s People Party), Meral Danış Beştaş (Vice co-President, People’s Democracy Party) and Tuğrul Türkeş (Member of Parliament Nationalist Movement Party). Consul General of Sweden in Istanbul, Jens Odlander, also met with our participants and shared his experiences.
